Below is an article about their 60th wedding anniversary. I did not reference the article, but it probably came from the Stevens Point paper.

      Married 60 Years
Several hundred friends and relatives, including several from Stevens Point and Amherst, helped Mr. and Mrs. Elias Eliasen of lola celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary last Sunday.

Rev. O. Nelson of Grand Forks, N. Dak, a former pastor at Scandinavia, to whose congregation the couple belonged, spoke, and commented upon the number of the golden weddings he had been celebrating by members of this group of relatives. The first was that of Mr. and Mrs. Johan Peter Mikkelsen Murat, the parents of Mrs. Mrs Eliassen, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Murat of Amherst, now deceased, celebrated a like event, while Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Johnson of Scandinavia observed their silver wedding anniversary. Mr Eliassen, now 87, Iola's oldest resident, and his wife, who is 77, recalled the march of progress over a long span of years. They witnessed the building of the Green Bay and Western and Lake Pepin railroads, as it was first called, and kept a boarding house at Scandinavia at the time the line was under construction. Mr. Eliassen was a pioneer in the raising of potatoes in large quantities, in the diversification of crops and in breeding of dairy cattle. Their last 25 years have been spent at lola. The seven children of the couple were all present at the gathering, and guests from nearby included Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Murat. Mr. and Mrs. Walton Murat, Judge John A. Murat, Walter Murat and Mrs. Edel Gleason of Stevens Point and Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Murat and son, Raymond, of the town of Amherst. 9 Aug 1929.
