Floyd Handshaw, 78, Lake City, died at his home Nov. 20, 1990.
Mr Handshaw was born Jan. 31, 1912, in Lake City, to Mr and Mrs Jesse Handshaw. He married the former Wendella Peters Sept. 12, 1972, in Lake City. He served in the US Army in WWII. He farmed and has worked at Jewell Nursery.
Survivors include his widow; one son, Brian, Lake City; one daughter, Dawn, Lake City; one brother, Clarence (Mike) of Lake City and two sisters, Mrs Mildred Butler of Houston, MN., and Mrs Lulu Maxwell of St Paul. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm at St John's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery with full military honors.
