Funeral of Mrs. Carnes. Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Hughes Carnes who died Sunday afternoon at the age of 82 years, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 at the John Feldman home and at 2:30 at First Presbyterian Church. Reverend C G Langley officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Feldman home tonight and tomorrow at 10 am to the time of the service.

Mrs. J. Carnes is Summoned. Death of Beloved Woman Follow Week's Illiness. Mrs. Agnes Hughes Carnes, 1119 South Park Street, aged 82 years, a highly respected resident of the community for more than a quarter of the century, died Sunday afternoon at about 2:30 o'clock at a local hospital following a week's illness. She had been failing in health for the past year.
Born at Dickinson's Landing, Ontario, on July 16, 1853, she removed to Wisconsin with her parents in 1869, family settling near Hudson, Wis. She was married to John Carnes in 1873. He passed away in 1916.
For the past 28 years Mrs. Carnes had been a resident of this city. She was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian church and a kindly Christian woman, who was highly regarded by all who know her. Her chief interests in life were her home and her church.
Three sons, Otis H. and John S. Carnes of Red Wing and James E. Carnes of Inglewood, Calif., one daughter, Mrs. John H. Feldman, Red Wing; two granddaughters, Misses Evelyn and Ethel Feldman, Red Wing and a brother, Manson Hughes, Hudson, Wis., survive.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
